Wednesday -- December 16, 2015 Christmas Luncheon

November 18, 2016

Dear Golden Girls

What a pleasant luncheon last Tuesday, November 17, in Snellville at O'Charley's with Margaret Floyd hosting.  Everyone seemed to have a great time. Many thanks to Margaret for handling this one.

We discussed at great length what to do about our December luncheon which has always been at Chateau Elan. Most indicated that they were getting a little weary of that place especially since they do not have the beautiful huge Christmas tree as they did in the past.  All they have had for several years is a tree made of wine bottles. Since Frances Bowen, who has always handled this one, is in Ohio with her son and his family, she will not be present for this one.

After much discussion, it appears that Mimi's and the Cheesecake Factory at the Mall of Georgia were definitely two favorites and both will be beautifully decorated for Christmas.  Just about everyone there on Tuesday had a conflict on December 15 which is the date which has been on our December calendar all year.  So, we agreed to have this one on the next day, Wednesday, December 16.

I called the Cheesecake Factory today, and they seemed to be filled up for lunch on December 16.  I went by Mimi's this afternoon, and the manager said they could take us there for December 16 at noon, so I had them put us down for that date in the Winery room (if possible).  they seemed delighted to have us again.

Mimi's at 880 MALL OF GEORGIA BLVD  -  BUFORD GA 30519
at noon.  Please let Bettye know by Monday, Dec. 14 if you will be attending.  770 298 2017.
